Nationalism

Because May 17th is the day Norway got its constitution and became an independent country, all people from Norway should be proud just because they are from Norway, I had to draw this national-romantic drawing.

I avoided drawing one of our most spectacular mountains or fjords and instead drew how it looks like where I live. And instead of drawing nice weather, I drew how the national-day actually was; grey and cold, to show that we're not only proud of some parts of the country and only the days the sun are shining; but the whole country every day x)
